Approach and anchoring

Approach the Poquoson River from the north-east, where the marked channel is clear of fish traps for a width of about 400 yards. No bridges between the bay and the marina. Approach depth around 10 feet, with 6.5 feet at the pontoons. Largest vessel handled is 65 feet.

Practical

Around 70 fixed slips, 9 of them transient, plus trailer storage and dry stack. There is 30 amp shore power, fresh water, WiFi, a pump-out, heads, showers and a laundry. Liveaboard berths permitted for a monthly fee. Address 100 Mingee Street, office on 757 868-4532.
