Approach and anchoring

Reached from the Great South Bay by the marked creek channel into West Sayville. Fire Island Inlet, the link to the open Atlantic, lies to the south.

Practical

There are 150 berths, of which 20 are kept for visitors, on fixed and floating pontoons with 30 and 50 amp shore power. A private fuel berth supplies petrol and diesel, and there are two pump-out systems. Showers, a private beach and 24-hour gated security are on site.
