Approach and anchoring

Reached from the lower Patuxent River. The marina is on Bauhof Road inside the naval air station, with Solomons Island Yacht Club and Solomons Yachting Center about 2 nautical miles to the north across the river.

Practical

Over 198 pier berths and 44 floating berths, all with water and shore power. There is a boat ramp, dry storage, a pump-out station, and a bathhouse with showers and laundry. Canoe, kayak and paddleboard hire is available. Transient overnight berthing is offered to authorised patrons.
