Approach and anchoring
Reached from New Haven Harbour up the Quinnipiac River. The docks lie inside the river and are sheltered from the swell of Long Island Sound. Canal Dock Boathouse is 1.6 nm to the SW.
Practical
More than 200 berths with shore power and fresh water at the dock. The water at the dock is brackish. The rebuilt clubhouse and bar host social events and fishing tournaments.
History
Waucoma Yacht Club was organised on 12 September 1907 by seven members who owned three boats between them.
