Approach and anchoring
Reached from Galveston Bay through the Clear Lake channel, about 15 minutes by water. Clear Lake is a sheltered body well screened from the Gulf, so the approach holds no tidal constraint of note.
Practical
More than 1,100 berths across floating, fixed and covered pontoons. Two pools, parking, several heads with showers and tennis courts on the 45 acre site. Opus Ocean Grille serves seafood on the waterfront.
History
The marina was established in 1965 on the south shore of Clear Lake, one of the earliest yachting centres developed on the lake.
