Approach and anchoring
Lies on the Bogue Sound side of Bogue Banks, off the Atlantic Beach causeway near ICW mile 204. Beaufort Inlet, the nearest ocean access, is about 3 miles east. Sound depths are shallow outside the marked ICW channel, so keep to deeper water on the approach. VHF and dockage best confirmed by phone on 252 247-4833.
Practical
Berths and a launch ramp used by weekend anglers. There is a mini-mart on site and beach access across Bogue Banks. Fort Macon State Park is roughly 2 miles east for fuller provisioning and services in Atlantic Beach.
