Approached from Boston Harbor through the Fore River and into Town River Bay, which gives shelter at its head. Captain's Cove Marina lies about 0.2 miles to the east.
Practical
Seasonal and transient berths plus moorings, with a fuel berth and secure boat storage. The City of Quincy added a boat ramp and boatyard at the site in 2021.
