Approach and anchoring
Enter Lake Montauk from Block Island Sound through the jettied inlet, then head south. The federal channel carries 12 feet but a shoal northeast of Star Island shifts and narrows it. The marina lies on the western shore of the harbour.
Practical
Diesel berth on site. Showers, laundry, chandlery, picnic and grill area, service and maintenance, travel lift, and a courtesy shuttle. Gated access.
Ashore
Montauk village centre with shops and restaurants is about 4 km south. The Montauk Point Light, commissioned in 1796, stands roughly 6 km east.
