Approach and anchoring
Reached from the Okeechobee Waterway channel, on the south bank just east of Fort Myers off State Road 31. The basin handles wet storage up to 100 feet and dry storage up to 30 feet.
Practical
Wet and dry berths with shore power, city water, cable TV and pump-out. Overnight dock, ship's store and showers. Kayaks and paddleboards for hire, plus manatee tours and sunset cruises. Office on 239 694 3850.
Story
Manatees, dolphins and wading birds are regular sights along this stretch of the Caloosahatchee, which holds snook, redfish, tarpon and trout.
