Approach and anchoring
Enter the Outer Harbour from the south entrance between the breakwaters off Lake Erie. Hold off the breakwater stone by at least 30 metres.
Practical
1000 wet slips for vessels up to 15 metres, covered and uncovered, 30 A and 50 A shore power and fresh water at every berth. Fuel berth with non-ethanol petrol, pump-out, chandlery, fish cleaning station, public launch ramp, 1000 trailer parking spaces. On-site restaurant Charlie's Boat Yard. Phone 716 828 0027.
Ashore
Buffalo Harbor State Park surrounds the marina, with a nautical-themed playground, fishing pier and the boardwalk along Gallagher Beach. Tifft Nature Preserve 1 km north with hiking trails through restored wetlands.
