Approach and anchoring
Enter Back Creek from the Patuxent River and hold to the channel; the marina lies just north of red marker 8. Call on VHF 16, working channel 68, for a berth. Maximum draught at the berths is about 5 metres.
Practical
Full-service fuel dock open daily from 0800 to 1645, with ethanol-free petrol. Pump-out from every berth, individual showers and heads, laundry, an air-conditioned lounge and dock-side Wi-Fi. Boatyard services on site.
Ashore
Solomons village runs along the waterfront with shops, restaurants and the Calvert Marine Museum about 1 km north. Drum Point Marine lies 0.2 nm to the north-west and Safe Harbor Zahnisers 0.4 nm to the south.
