Guide

Approach and anchoring

Berths on the south end of Chautauqua Lake, near Jamestown. Inland lake at 1,308 feet elevation, no tide. Speed limited to 5 mph within 200 feet of any dock, moored boat or fixed object.

Practical

Seasonal berths at the Celoron site with crane or ramp launch, Wi-Fi, ice, water and shore power. Indoor and outdoor winter storage, shrink wrapping, year-round mechanic shop. Sailboat hire for experienced sailors after a skills check, ASA courses from June to September.

Ashore

Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Museum and Comedy Center in central Jamestown, about 2 miles by road. Chautauqua Rails to Trails greenway runs nearby for cyclists and walkers.
