Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the N in settled weather. Sand bottom. The cove is open from W through S to E, so only usable in light offshore winds from the N quadrant. Rocky heads extend from both points flanking the beach. Anchor off the southern beach between the green mole and the western shore, on good holding sand, with room for only one or two boats.
Practical
Forain anchorage, no facilities ashore. Locquémeau drying harbour 0.9 NM W and Beg hent 0.9 NM E provide the nearest shelter. Village shops at Locquémeau.
Ashore
GR34 coast path runs above the beach, linking Locquémeau to the Pointe de Séhar and the Léguer estuary. Chapelle de Saint-Michel on the hill above Locquémeau.
