Guide

Approach and anchoring

Access from Franks Tract through Piper Slough on the west side of Bethel Island. Freshwater delta, no tidal lock. Watch for shallow patches and submerged tules along the slough banks.

Practical

Berths from 24 to 30 ft, dry storage, launch ramp and pumpout. RV and tent sites on a 16 acre property. Office Tue to Sun 0800 to 1700. Phone +1 925 684 2174.

Ashore

Kayak and paddleboard launch onto Franks Tract State Recreation Area, a 3,500 acre flooded island known for bass fishing. Willowest Harbor general store 800 m up Willow Road.
