Approach and anchoring

Access from Block Island Sound is through the Charlestown Breachway, a narrow channel that runs hard, especially on the ebb. Ninigret Pond is shallow, with about 6 feet at mean low water in the channel, so berths suit boats drawing no more than 2 to 3 feet. Time the entrance near slack water.

Practical

Around 90 berths with transient space charged by the foot. Fresh water and shore power on the pontoons. The marina sits in the village of Charlestown, with shops and provisions a short drive away rather than walking distance.
