Approach and anchoring
New Buffalo harbour is reached through a marked channel between two piers off Lake Michigan, about an hour by road from Chicago. The Moorings sits in the heart of the harbour.
Practical
Each dock is privately owned and taxed as real estate, so berths are not let to transient boats. Water and shore power at the docks. On site there is a swimming pool, hot tub, bath house, club house and picnic area.
