Approach and anchoring
Reach the marina by entering the St. Joseph River from Lake Michigan between the breakwaters, on the inner and outer pier light range, then run up to the south end of Marina Island. The river mouth is shallow and shifting, so favour the marked channel.
Practical
116 berths along over 2,200 feet of water frontage. Clubhouse with full kitchen, laundry, heated pool, hot tub and heads with showers. The site is a residential community of 61 homes, so transient berthing should be confirmed in advance.
Ashore
Walkways, picnic and play areas cover the island, with a fire pit and gazebo on the south-east corner looking over the river.
