Approach and anchoring
Red Hook Bay opens east towards Pillsbury Sound and St. John. The marina takes yachts up to 120 feet, about 36 metres, with 10 feet, 3 metres, of draught and 40 feet of beam. Call on VHF 11 or 16. The ferries to Cruz Bay use the same bay.
Practical
Fuel berth with high-speed pumps, 30 and 50 amp shore power, metered water, private showers and a chandlery. Laundry is nearby rather than on site. Shops and restaurants surround the docks. Customs and Border Protection is at the Red Hook ferry terminal, under half a mile away, Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm by appointment on +1 340 774 2510.
