Approach and anchoring
Reached from San Carlos Bay through the dredged Matanzas Pass channel and its no-wake zone. The marina lies close to the foot of the bridge between San Carlos and Estero islands, which has a fixed clearance of 65 feet.
Practical
Twenty wet berths plus indoor dry storage for around 115 vessels up to 40 feet, served by an automated electric crane. There is shore power, fresh water, a fuel station, a pump-out, heads and a ship store. Concierge service covers ice, provisions and valet parking. The storage building is rated to withstand winds of 200 mph.
Ashore
Doc Ford's Rum Bar and Grille stands next to the marina. The shops and Gulf beach of Fort Myers Beach are a short distance west.
