Guide

Approach and anchoring

Enter through the marked cut from Raritan Bay into an easily navigated channel. The harbour gives all-round shelter. Anchoring space is limited to the northern end of the bay, as the centre is taken up by yacht club mooring fields. Holding is on sand.

Ashore

Great Kills Yacht Club lies 0.2 miles to the north-west and Richmond County Yacht Club 0.3 miles to the west, both with tender service to their clubhouses. The harbour sits within Gateway National Recreation Area, with beach and walking paths on the surrounding shore.
