Approach and anchoring
Garrison Bight lies on the bay side of Key West, off North Roosevelt Boulevard. The mooring field sits north of the marina basin. Call the marina office on 305-809-3981 before picking up a buoy.
Practical
The city mooring field holds 149 buoys used by liveaboards and visiting crews, with daily and monthly rates. Each mooring is inspected every 180 days. A city pump-out boat serves vessels on the moorings. A dinghy dock gives shore access.
Story
The field started with 81 moorings and grew to 149 after a grant from Monroe County's Department of Marine Resources.
