Guide

Approach and anchoring

Lies on the Neuse River at the confluence with the Trent River, off the ICW. Approach is straightforward in deep water. Berths take vessels from 14 to 30 metres, with around 120 metres of transient dockage. Call ahead on the marina line before arrival.

Practical

Diesel and petrol on the fuel berth, with volume discounts above 500 gallons. All berths have 30 and 50 amp shore power and wifi. In-berth pump-out, private heads and showers. The Galley Stores provisions shop and Persimmons waterfront restaurant are on site. Phone 252 633-4648.

Ashore

Historic downtown New Bern is a short walk from the marina. Tryon Palace, the reconstructed 1770 colonial governor's residence, is about 800 metres away. The Birthplace of Pepsi-Cola on Middle Street, where Caleb Bradham mixed the drink in 1898, is roughly 600 metres off.
