Approach from Lake Erie via the marked club entrance, monitors VHF 16. Open to north and north-west swell. Adjacent to East 55th Street Marina, 0.5 nautical miles east.
Practical
Around 125 berths for sailing yachts and motor boats from 16 to 40 feet. Members and authorised guests only. Club house, lawn area and swimming pool. Reservations on 216-361-9857.
History
Founded on 20 August 1939 by a group of Cleveland boaters who chose the name Forest City after the city's historical nickname.
