Approach and anchoring

Practical

Ashore

Coinjock is a one-road waterway stop with the marina restaurant, a small store and little else within walking distance. Crews use the marina as an overnight halt between Norfolk and Albemarle Sound rather than a destination ashore.

Story

The marina restaurant is known on the AICW for its 32-ounce prime rib, voted by America's Great Loop Cruisers' Association as one of the best dining stops on the 6,000-mile Great Loop.
