Guide
Approach and anchoring
An open anchorage in the Shumagin group, sheltered from north-east through south-east and from the south-west, but exposed to other quarters. No marks or lights nearby. Sand Point Harbour lies about 20.6 nautical miles to the north-west and is the nearest refuge with a breakwater and floats.
Practical
Anchorage only, no facilities. Treat it as a fair-weather stop or a wait for the tide rather than a destination.
