Approach and anchoring
Buck's Harbour lies at the western end of Eggemoggin Reach, one of the most sheltered passages on the Maine coast. The harbour itself is well protected and deep. Call the marina on VHF channel 9, 10 or 16.
Practical
Over 30 transient and seasonal moorings, set in 17 to 35 feet of water and taking boats up to 70 feet, one of the largest mooring fields in Penobscot Bay. Fuel dock with diesel and non-ethanol petrol. Parking behind the marina costs 20 USD a day or 30 USD overnight for non-members.
Story
The marina monitors several VHF channels through the season and keeps the fuel berth open with both diesel and non-ethanol petrol.
