Approach and anchoring

Entered from Mount Hope Bay at the mouth of the Taunton River, off Fall River. The fuel berth sits on the north side of the marina with deep-water access. Battleship Cove and the USS Massachusetts lie just upstream.

Practical

About 325 deep-water berths take vessels up to 65 feet and catamarans with beams to 24 feet. There is a fuel berth supplying petrol and diesel, pump-out facilities and a ship's store. Transient rates run about 3 dollars per foot per night plus a nightly charge for shore power.
