Approach and anchoring

Direct approach from Lake Erie, west of the Black River mouth at Lorain. Approach and dockside depth 2.4 metres. Sheltered behind the Lorain harbour breakwaters.

Address 6000 West Erie Avenue. 190 berths, 3 transient, maximum length 13.7 metres. Fuel berth with petrol and diesel. Water and 30 amp shore power at each pontoon, pump-out, heads, showers, laundry, ice. Free wifi. On-site Beaver House restaurant and bar. Indoor and outdoor winter storage, rack service.

Ashore

Lakeview Park beach and rose garden 2 km east along the lakefront. Lorain Lighthouse, the Jewel of the Port, visible at the end of the west breakwater. Black River Landing event venue 4 km up the river in downtown Lorain.
