Bay on the south side of the Caravelle peninsula, east of Tartane, added in December 2025 to the Caravelle peninsula national nature reserve.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Since 4 December 2025 the decree extending the reserve has banned anchoring in the whole bay at all times. The western part is a strict protection zone closed to navigation. In the eastern part, boats may transit by day only at 3 knots or less, and personal watercraft are banned.
Practical
Diving is allowed in the eastern part of the bay. For the night, move to Baie du Galion or off Tartane.
Ashore
The Bois Dubuc track crosses the reserve to the ruins of the Château Dubuc.
