From the top of Pine Island Sound to Clearwater: Venice and its inlet, Sarasota and the anchorage off downtown, Longboat Key, Anna Maria Island, Egmont Key at the mouth of Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg and Gulfport, Clearwater at the end. Tampa Bay is 40 km long and kicks up fast in a northerly: cross it in the morning.
